Nice...

Good attention to detail, like how you got the patterns in the visor.

But...

When working with pencil, you might not want to just use a 5h. You should have at least gone over the major lines with something heavier (3-6B?) and then perhaps used a chunkier pencil to smooth the black spots. When you use an H pencil, as far as I can tell, the points tend to dig into the paper, creating usually undesirable ridges in the [paper that make smooth blending really hard. They make sharp lines.

B pencils are nicer for shading, but if you don't have any, that's totally understandable. <3

All I really have to say, in the end, is that you could have darkened the major lines and, well really, all the lines, so the details are easier to see. If you made the lines darker, that would also give you more chance to add extra details; like dirt or little scratches.

We all know you can't be as awesome as Master Chief without getting a few nicks and dings.

Overall, this is better than I could do with just one pencil. xD

Thankyou for the advice :D

Interesting

Very intense-feeling. I thought more of energy than sadness, though, perhaps by the way the colors are moving. I thought of a rushing wolf or a swooping bird.

I can see why you'd use shades of just one color, but if you'd moved around a bit (used a bluer or redder variant of the same general color) you could have made the picture a bit more dynamic, add another layer of interest...

I still like it, though. Interesting, and kind of thought provoking...

Perhaps, but that would probably go with the other colors in the series (have you seen them?). I was hoping that the uniform direction would create the stillness, especially with the cool colors and the white. I do appreciate this comment, though, as I like to see through the eyes of others, since no two people are exactly the same. I'm glad you can connect with it, despite the deviation from my original intent:)

Hello! I'm a young something-year-old. Drawing is and always has been a passion of mine. I've been forced to grow up, however, and I'm currently serving in the military. I do plan to pursue arts in the future and maybe nab a degree. Nice to meet you! <3
